Youth Innovation Journey

Youth Innovation Journey is an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union that aims to empower young people to become active innovators and entrepreneurs. The project focuses on equipping youth with the skills, mindset, and opportunities needed to develop creative solutions to societal challenges while fostering their engagement in innovation ecosystems.

The project brings together a dynamic partnership of organisations across Europe to support young people—especially those with fewer opportunities—in building entrepreneurial competences, participating in innovation processes, and turning ideas into impactful initiatives. Through transnational collaboration, learning activities, and hands-on experiences, Youth Innovation Journey contributes to strengthening youth participation in shaping a more innovative and inclusive future.

Objectives
Youth Innovation Journey’s overall objectives include:

• Strengthening young people’s entrepreneurial and innovation skills through practical training, mentorship, and experiential learning.
• Empowering youth to transform their ideas into viable projects, startups, or social initiatives.
• Supporting the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
• Fostering collaboration between youth organisations, educators, startups, and innovation stakeholders.
• Promoting creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking as key competences for the future.
• Encouraging international cooperation, peer learning, and exchange of best practices in youth innovation.
• Enhing active citizenship by enabling young people to take initiative and create positive change in their communities.

The Youth Innovation Journey project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. By supporting youth innovation and entrepreneurship, it contributes to building a more inclusive, forward-thinking, and resilient European society.
