MOBIUS - Promoting Youth social innovation and inclusive participation through collaboration

MOBIUS is an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union that focuses on empowering young people to actively participate in social innovation processes. The project supports the development of inclusive, youth-led solutions to societal challenges by strengthening competencies, fostering collaboration, and promoting active engagement in innovation ecosystems.

The project brings together a diverse partnership of organisations across Europe, working to create opportunities for young people—especially those from migrant and vulnerable backgrounds, to engage in co-creation, entrepreneurship, and community-driven initiatives. Through shared learning and transnational cooperation, MOBIUS contributes to building more inclusive and participatory innovation environments.

Objectives

MOBIUS’s overall objectives include:

• Strengthening young people’s competencies in social innovation, entrepreneurship, and co-creation through targeted training and practical learning experiences.
• Empowering youth from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds to actively engage in developing solutions to local and global challenges.
• Fostering collaboration between youth organisations, educators, and stakeholders to support inclusive innovation ecosystems.
• Developing and promoting the role of Youth Social Innovation Brokers to facilitate knowledge exchange, networking, and cross-sector cooperation.
• Encouraging international cooperation and peer learning to share best practices and innovative approaches in youth-led social innovation.
• Supporting inclusion, participation, and active citizenship by enabling young people to become changemakers within their communities.

The MOBIUS project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. By promoting inclusive innovation and youth empowerment, it contributes to a more resilient, participatory, and socially responsible future across Europe.
