101195985

EASI – Enhancing Assessment Skills of In-Company Tutors is a European cooperation project funded by the European Union that focuses on strengthening the quality of work-based learning by developing innovative assessment methods and tools for in-company tutors who guide apprentices across various industries. The project supports the professional growth of workplace mentors to ensure better learning outcomes, stronger integration between VET and business needs, and improved apprentice readiness for the labour market.

The partnership brings together VET providers, industry representatives, employers and training organisations committed to improving the assessment practices used by companies to supervise and evaluate apprentices in real-world settings.

Objectives

EASI’s overall objectives include:

  • Enhancing the assessment competencies of in-company tutors to ensure reliable, fair and motivational evaluation of apprentice performance.
  • Developing innovative tools and methodologies that align workplace training with formal VET requirements and quality standards.
  • Strengthening cooperation between education institutions and employers to promote coherence between learning outcomes and labour-market expectations.
  • Supporting the professional development of workplace mentors through structured resources, guidelines and shared best practices.

The EASI project is funded by the European Union as part of its commitment to improve vocational education and training and support high-quality apprenticeships. Through this initiative, EASI contributes to more effective training environments where apprentices gain essential skills under competent mentorship, fostering stronger links between learning and employment.
