EIT Innovation Awards 2025: Celebrating Europe’s Top Innovators

MeOut Group attends the 2025 EIT Awards in Budapest

On November 25, 2025, MeOut Group participated in the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology Awards, one of Europe’s most prestigious events celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation, and technological excellence. Held in Budapest, the ceremony brought together innovators, startups, investors, and policymakers, highlighting breakthrough solutions that are shaping Europe’s future.

The EIT Awards 2025 combined the EIT Jumpstarter Grand Finale and the EIT Red Kalyna celebrations, creating a dynamic platform for recognizing both emerging talents and established innovators across Europe.

Honouring Europe’s Innovation Leaders

Selected from hundreds of applications across the continent, the EIT Awards finalists demonstrated how entrepreneurial support, research collaboration, and innovation ecosystems transform ideas into impactful solutions. The awards emphasised scalable technologies, societal impact, and cross-border cooperation.

Categories of the 2025 EIT Awards included:

  • EIT Changemaker Award – recognising individuals whose work generates significant social impact.

  • EIT Innovation Team Award – spotlighting cross-disciplinary teams delivering transformative products and services.

  • EIT Venture Award – acknowledging startups with exceptional growth potential and innovation capabilities.

  • EIT Public Award – a community-chosen recognition for outstanding finalists.

Winners of the 2025 EIT Awards

EIT Changemaker Award

  • Winner: Laura Laringe (Germany), co-founder of reLi Energy, improving battery performance with smart software

  • Second place: Laurie Lancee (Netherlands)

  • Third place: Farnaz Baksh (Estonia)

EIT Innovation Team Award

  • Winner: AI Automated Industrial Analytics (Italy) – human-centric AI for early detection and data-driven industrial solutions

  • Second place: BRIGHT Project Innovation Team (Estonia)

  • Third place: VoiceMed (Italy)

EIT Venture Award

  • Winner: ABLE Human Motion (Spain) – affordable motorised exoskeletons for mobility and gait rehabilitation

  • Second place: Sofi Alchemist (Finland)

  • Third place: Digiclean Solutions AB (Sweden)

EIT Public Award

  • Winner: ABLE Human Motion (Spain)

These winners represent Europe’s leading innovators in healthtech, industrial AI, sustainability, and social impact.

Strengthening Europe’s Innovation Ecosystem

The EIT Awards 2025 featured insights from:

  • Antoaneta Angelova Krasteva, Director of the European Commission’s DG for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture

  • Stefan Dobrev, Chairperson of the EIT Governing Board

  • László Bódis, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation, Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Culture

The event included live pitches from finalists, interactive panels on regional innovation and place-based growth, and the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding between EIT and the Government of Malta, enhancing innovation cooperation in Europe.

MeOut Group proudly attended, engaging with innovators and stakeholders, and witnessing firsthand the impact of Europe’s startup and innovation ecosystem.
