AVETE Transnational Networking Summit - Advancing ErasmusPro Mobilities and VET Excellence Across Europe

AVETE Transnational Networking Summit - Strengthening Vocational Education Across Europe

On November 7th, 2025, Budapest hosted the AVETE Transnational Networking Summit, organised under the Alliance for VET Excellence: Advancing ErasmusPro Mobilities project. The event brought together educators, VET providers, company representatives, and policymakers from eight European countries: Hungary, Armenia, Georgia, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, and Moldova, to explore how vocational education and training (VET) can become more inclusive, innovative, and aligned with the evolving needs of learners and employers.

Collaboration for Quality and Inclusion

The summit provided a platform for open dialogue and shared learning. Discussions went beyond formal presentations, focusing on how to make ErasmusPro mobilities more accessible, high-quality, and impactful.
Participants reflected on key questions such as:

  1.  What makes a VET partnership sustainable and meaningful?
  2.  How can host organisations better support international learners?
  3.  How can ErasmusPro adapt to emerging challenges like the green and digital transitions?
  4. And how can every learner, regardless of background, benefit from these opportunities?

From these exchanges, clear messages emerged:

  • Effective VET–industry cooperation is built on trust and shared goals.
  •  Inclusion must be intentional, supported by mentorship and targeted outreach.
  •  Learner stories are powerful in showing the real impact of ErasmusPro.
  •  Excellence is an ongoing process of collaboration and continuous learning.

Building the Future of ErasmusPro

The AVETE Transnational Networking Summit turned dialogue into action, fostering new partnerships and practical strategies to make VET a driver of opportunity and lifelong learning. Co-funded by the European Union, the project strengthens ErasmusPro mobilities by equipping VET institutions with the tools and networks needed for high-quality international experiences. It also integrates Slow Tourism principles, connecting education with sustainability and culture. Through meetings, training, and collaboration, AVETE enhances VET capacity, promotes skills aligned with digital and green transitions, and strengthens cooperation among schools, companies, and policymakers across Europe.
