On November 7th, 2025, Budapest hosted the AVETE Transnational Networking Summit, organised under the Alliance for VET Excellence: Advancing ErasmusPro Mobilities project. The event brought together educators, VET providers, company representatives, and policymakers from eight European countries: Hungary, Armenia, Georgia, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, and Moldova, to explore how vocational education and training (VET) can become more inclusive, innovative, and aligned with the evolving needs of learners and employers.
The summit provided a platform for open dialogue and shared learning. Discussions went beyond formal presentations, focusing on how to make ErasmusPro mobilities more accessible, high-quality, and impactful.

The AVETE Transnational Networking Summit turned dialogue into action, fostering new partnerships and practical strategies to make VET a driver of opportunity and lifelong learning. Co-funded by the European Union, the project strengthens ErasmusPro mobilities by equipping VET institutions with the tools and networks needed for high-quality international experiences. It also integrates Slow Tourism principles, connecting education with sustainability and culture. Through meetings, training, and collaboration, AVETE enhances VET capacity, promotes skills aligned with digital and green transitions, and strengthens cooperation among schools, companies, and policymakers across Europe.
